Offense Highlights

White Sox

 Jeff Allison - A 1-man offensive force. 3-3, double, 3 runs, RBI
 Tim Sullivan - 2-3, double, 3 RBIs
 Noel Hernandez - 1-3, 1 run, 2 SB; Sam Descoteaux 1-3, double
John Mallin - 1-2, BB; Gary Lacroix, Peter Hanson, Brian Turmenne - 1 hit each

Rob Guarino - Championship game MVP! 2-3, R, two doubles, 4 RBI. You are a one man Wrecking Crew, Rob. In fact, that's your new nickname: Wrecking Crew. Rob said the the real MVP for the game was the team, but I think the season MVP was the team.
Mark Wilson - 2-3, R, RBI, SB. Mark, you've been a hero at bat all year (and in the field). Completely unflappable. It's an honor playing with you --- Mike Garon - That beautiful double to put our first crooked number on the board. Wow. Wow. Wow.
David Fieldsend - Tim Brooks --- 2 runs scored each in 3 PAs each. What more can you ask than that? All season long, our 1 and 2 hitters have gotten on base and scored at a remarkable pace. It feels unfair to have such certainty at the top of the lineup.
Orioles Team - Tip of the cap to Gary and an incredible White Sox team. We felt like serious underdogs against such a talented team.

Defense Highlights

White Sox

Jeff Allison - Dominant pitching performance against a great offensive team. 6 innings, 9 K's, 1 BB, 2 ER and 2 big pickoffs.
White Sox Team - Great season guys. Tough coming so close to repeating but we lost to a good team; no shame in that. Congratulations to Ian and the Orioles on their first championship. Well done

Vinny Cimmino - An amazing performance! 10K, 2 ER, went toe to toe with Jeff Allison's masterful performance for 7 innings. Just brilliant.
Mike Garon - Can't say enough about how much of a difference it made to have Michael on our team this year and for this game. He came in and kept a fantastic team off balance in the most important game of the year. A silent assassin.
Andrew Pickering - Rich Gottesman - Mark Wilson --- Guys, that 6-3-5 Double Play in the 9th was the play of the season. That was when I knew. Chris Bleau - Made the hardest catch in all of baseball: the can of corn fly ball catch that ends the season. You're a rock.
Orioles Team - What a pleasure being a part of this team. You'll not find a better group of people and ballplayers anywhere. And, O's, practice for our 2020 title defense starts next Saturday @9am at Ryan Field. Don't be late!
