2006 OTB Home Run Derby at LeLacheur Park!

OTB had a successful Home Run Derby yesterday and helped raise over $600 for the UMass Baseball Team!

Thanks to the efforts of Jim Shaughnessy of the OTB Athletics and in coordination with UMass Baseball, this event will serve as a fundraiser for the UMass Baseball Team as well as OTB.

Saturday, October 7th, 8:00 am to 11:00 am (we will end the event at 11:00 am sharp to ensure there is no conflict with our very successful Golf Tournament). All OTB players that plan on attending both events shall be allowed to hit first to allow plenty of time to register at the golf course.

The fee: $20 - which includes 10 swings and a lunch provided by the parents of UMass Baseball players. Points will be tallied and trophies for 1st, 2nd and longest ball will be awarded. UMass Baseball will provide pitchers and baseballs. Players may pay at the field on Saturday morning. The number of participants will be limited to available time at the field so get there early!
